Balance Responsible Party Arrangement
To trade on wholesale markets, you need to become a BRP or work with one. This decision depends on a participants portfolio size and trading ambitions, please get in contact to understand which decision makes sense for you.

REMIT Compliance
Trading on wholesale markets required you to register with your national regulator to obtain an ACER code, in the Netherlands you also need a VAT permit.

Wallet Set-up
To start trading using our collateral-less debit-based wallet system we help you to set up a wallet account with our external payment provider.

Technical Integration
During onboarding participants are given an account in a testing environment to test and build integrations.

Where can I find onboarding documents?
Onboarding documents and information will be sent by our Support team during onboarding. Alternatively, go to etpa.nl/onboarding-pages/onboarding-landing.
Why does a Dutch participant need to have a BTW entrepotvergunning?
A BTW entrepot/VAT depot is required for Etpa and the participant to trade energy without VAT incurring on the traded amounts.
